What does an Airalo eSIM plan come with?
- An Airalo package comes with data (e.g., 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, etc.) valid for a specified time period (e.g., 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, etc.). If you run out of data or your validity period expires, you can top up your eSIM or download a new one right from the Airalo app.
How much does it cost?
- eSIMs from Airalo start from US$4.50 for 1GB of data.
Does an eSIM come with a number?
- Some eSIMs, including our Global Discover+ eSIM, come with a phone number so you can call, text, and access data. Check your eSIM's description for details.

Great App.
My wife and I recently travelled to the U.S for a vacation, I was told about the app by a friend but was hesitant at first but decided to try it anyway. I took the 10G plan, since I was stay for one week and usually does a lot of activities with my phone. This app worked like a charm, I had no issues and was able to operate normal with my phone with the exception of making network call which is not part of the service. I will definitely use it again once I am traveling and will recommend it to my friends and anyone who has doubts of trying it. Also note the plan was very cost effective.

Works sometimes and support is bad
I installed my sim and had to get help from their chat as it didn’t work. After much back and forth and setting changes that were not described in the instructions it worked… for a day… the next day it stopped working and I hadn’t touched anything. I tried contacting them and got the chatbot again and the same insanely long useless info and options I got the day prior. I gave up. Then it randomly started working again a couple hours later after leaving me stranded on the road with no data. I topped up and when it reached the point where it should have pulled data from the top up, guess what… it stopped working. Couldn’t get help from the chat or the WhatsApp. I reset my mobile data settings… it started working. Got home, went to sleep, woke up… guess what? This is totally unreliable and the help chat is useless as it’s the same AI everytime and can take hours before someone actually responds at which point I could be kidnapped and halfway to Antarctica. Would not recommend.

Had some reservations about using an e-Sim as I never used one before. Someone mentioned to me in the past that they used a company called Airalo so I decided to investigate into its use further.
Decided, with apprehension, to “bite the bullet” and sign up for both my wife and myself.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the array of plans for the USA, the low cost of each and how easy it was to purchase same.
The instructions to install and activate the e-Sim was simple and you didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to succeed.
The connection to T-Mobile wasn’t immediate upon activation on my arrival but I didn’t have to wait long which allowed me to order my taxi online.
What was even better was the fact that I got $3 discount on the purchase of the e-Sim for my wife as I referred the service to her.
I have been using it now for about 2 1/2 weeks without issue (it dropped once for about 10 minutes) so I am very satisfied with the purchase. Thanks Airalo. You saved me a bundle.
