What’s New
Version 2.4.5
The ND Smart Bait Boat® App has gone through more than 30 version updates and more than 800 tests through the combined efforts of our internal team and external testers. The official version 2.4.2 of ND Smart Bait Boat® for IOS has now been released. If there are still minor bugs, we ask for understanding and correction. The following features have been added or improved in the official version:
1. Boat unlock function: The function to unlock the boat has been added. Boat 2 must be unlocked before you can use it.
2. Map rotation function: The map can now be rotated with two fingers. Click on the compass at the top right to return the map to its normal position.
3. Spot hold function: You can use this function via the autopilot menu. The boat moves to a spot and holds the position. If it drifts off course, it makes course corrections. The holding distance to the spot can be set to 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 metres.
4. Multitasking action group function: You can create and execute several tasks in succession. The current task is displayed on the map in real time.
5. Help page for first steps: A new help page has been added where you can find instructions when you open the app for the first time and how to connect a new boat.
6. Feedback function in the app: A new feedback page has been added, which you can find under the feedback function in the menu bar. Here you can submit problems that occur directly.
7. Hardware upgrade "over the air": A hardware upgrade function has been added for the main board and the distribution board of Boat 2; you can find it under Upgrade in the menu bar.
8. Spot drag function: A spot drag function has been added to the menu, which allows you to move the set navigation point with your finger after opening it. The function can also be locked and unlocked.
9. Multiple distance units: A function for switching distance units has been added. You can find it under Distance unit in the menu bar.
10. The function of the distance meter has been optimised. You can now use the tape measure anywhere on the map and have multiple distances displayed in parallel.
