Description

Hamilton's method is one of the four most well-known methods of apportionment taught in many high schools and universities. Apportionment is the process by which seats in a legislative body are distributed among administrative divisions, such as states or parties, entitled to representation.

This app uses Hamilton's method of apportionment to apportion a user-specified amount of seats to categories (called states) based on each category's value (the population size).
