Power tube 3000... JuiceSync2

JuiceSync2: 1 star due to suppression of iPhone virtual keyboard.

The power tube 3000's 4"tube form factor is convenient to keep on you for when your iPhone (6s) is running low on power.

The built in lightening connector ensures you always can connect the device to your battery pack.

The tube, unfortunately, becomes less convenient if you want to use your phone while it is charging from your power tube 3000. A form factor similar to the phone would be more practical.

The power tube 3000 can connect to your iPhone via Bluetooth, but using this feature has been problematic for me.

If you pair using the Bluetooth settings, the JuiceSync2 add devices does not seem to find the device to add to its battery analysis display. 'Forget'ting the device at the Bluetooth settings and then adding the device within JuiceSync2 successfully adds the device. Display values are filled out but may not be current. Prompts to pair the device are displayed.

After accepting the pairing prompt, however the iPhone virtual keyboard is suppressed for all apps I tried ( safari, waze, messenger). 'Forgetting' the pairing restores the virtual keyboard.

Unfortunately for JuiceSync2, my keyboard feature is far more important me than having a Bluetooth connection to an external battery.

The JuiceSync2 app isn't essential, but as the power tube 3000 gets quite hot during charging, the temperature warning feature seems more useful than gimmicky.

If the paring is off and the app is used, annoying ( because you really don't want to lose the keyboard) messages to pair come up frequently.

As I have not been able to leave the pairing on, I'm not sure how useful the 'find me' function would be as Bluetooth communication is lost just outside 10 meters. It may be useful, however, to get the alert that communication was lost so you could go back and search for the battery.

There is no audio alarm from the device when searching for it ( as with the apple 'find iPhone ' app for the apple devices). The 3 charging lights that come on seem only useful if you had put your battery with a bunch of others and wanted to identify your paired device. Certainly not useful if the power tube 3000 is in the handy pouch supplied with it!
