Description

Massachusetts Juvenile Police Officers Association app lets you communicate with other users that help students and staffs keep a safer school environment.

Massachusetts Juvenile Police Officer’s Association has been in existence for over 50 years. MJPOA is a combination of hard working and dedicated School Resource Officer’s, Juvenile Officer’s, DARE Officers, Detectives, Supervisors, Youth Officer’s, Probation Officer’s, Principals, Assistant Principals, Teachers, Counselors, and School Safety/Security Personnel, all working together!

MJPOA provides information and training for law enforcement personnel and school personnel keeping our members up-to-date on juvenile issues, school issues, and recent court decisions. Our goal is to assist police and school personnel in creating a safe learning environment for all students and staff. While creating a safe learning environment, we also stress the importance of building partnerships between the school, police and fire departments. These Partnerships help guide and direct us as a team during an incident.

One of the greatest values of MJPOA membership is the constant networking and sharing of information among law enforcement personnel and school personnel.

In 2009 MJPOA became a state charter of the National Association of School Resource Officer’s (NASRO). Collaborating with NASRO provides us with access to nationwide trainings and updates.
