Every time you multitask with many apps open, you need all the windows arranged accordingly. Magnet makes this process swift and easy.

In one drag to the edge of your display, you size any app into half of the screen. And by dragging its windows to corners, you snap them into quarters. Sliding on the bottom edge creates thirds, or even sixths on ultra-wide monitors. Taking advantage of such arrangements eliminates app switching and greatly enhances workspace efficiency.

All commands can be triggered via keyboard shortcuts as well. You can find a predefined set of hotkeys under the menu bar icon, or create ones that fit your habits.

Just like windows!!!

Really thought that macOS Mojave would have had this feature natively as I multitask a lot and was frustrated with having to resize application windows all the time. Magnet just wants to make me multitask. Just add/switch to a new desktop, open a few applications and snap away.

Some suggestions of additional features in future updates (please point me to where I can officially make the request):
1) Allow to divide the screen into three parts (and 4 parts?). Great for the iMac 27" with a finer display. This can be customised to an exact ratio or adjusted manually, possibly a slider to set the ratios.
2) Allow you to adjust the basic windows resizing ratio so that you can resize say the Notes application with a word processing application or web browser. Makes it look like a side panel.
A nice benefit to this is if you have a dashboard webpage that resizes well, that can be placed on your desktop as you work.
