Everything’s Copacetic
I absolutely love the idea of modernizing letter sending. You still get all the jitters and excitement whilst waiting for your letters but obviously without the ridiculously long wait. It makes cross cultural learning way more accessible, affordable and fun! It’s also very wholesome with their ground rules which I’m highly appreciative of. 10/10 would recommend!
i like it, but....
I really like Slowly, I have no complaints but 1. and it isn’t even that big of a complaint i guess but it’s about the “starring” system.
it’s frustrating when you can’t know who did it. maybe that’s the point so that it can be anonymous, but I want to star that person back and i dont who it is. my letters take days to send and receive so asking everyone just to get a “no” or have them lie is the only thing i’d change as of now.
BUT i really do love the app, sending and writing real letters seems a bit like a drag, especially with lock down and you get to choose who you want to talk to ❤️
