Massive Warfare: Tank War

Tank & Helicopter PvP Battles

View

From your mid-air position you take aim at your target below. In a matter of seconds your enemy tank will emerge from behind a rock. Just one more shot and it’s done. You hold your breath...

BOOOOOM! The ferocity of the explosion makes you tremble. Now your helicopter’s windscreen is cracked. A camouflaged hovercraft you hadn’t noticed is taking aim at you from downstream. You could launch a frontal attack but, strangely, you decide to retreat.

The immersive universe of Massive Warfare feels hectic and unexpected. The war takes place on land, at sea and in air battles that last for five intense minutes, so your strategy skills as commander will be tested to the max.

Take your shot but keep moving before your opponent launches an unexpected attack.

There’s no right way of playing, but weighing the pros and cons of each vehicle type is a good starting point. The tank has mighty firepower and robust iron armour, but as it trundles along, it’s easy prey from the heights; the helicopter is fast and can reach any point on the battlefield in no time, but its armour is vulnerable; and then there’s the stealth hovercraft, speedy in water but slow on the ground. If you can pick the right vehicle for your strategy though, it’s half the battle won.

In the Free for All mode, you’ll soon learn the importance of moving cautiously and reacting quickly. Keep one eye on what’s in front, the other on the map, and hope for the best. But it’s in the Team Deathmatch mode where you’ll really need to deploy your skills strategically in intense 4v4 battles.

Outwit your enemy by alternating frontal attacks with indirect ones. And when you decide to go frontal, be sure to have plenty of tech power-ups available to unleash a sharp attack... and watch how the tides can turn in your favour.

It’s exciting to see all the camaraderie that arises amongst the alliances.

Massive Warfare keeps expanding its horizons beyond the battlefield into an active community. “It’s exciting to see all the camaraderie that arises amongst the alliances,” says Andres Constantinidis from the Chilean studio Tiny Bytes Games. “Every day, we see the interactions among the players in the Global, Alliance and Friends chats... some invite other players to join their alliance, others ask for minimum points to get in, while others exchange tips and strategies to deceive the opponent and scale up in the alliance leaderboard.”

And that brings us back to you, Commander. Your supposed retreat has gifted you with the opportunity to deceive all of them. It’s time to drop that final blow, you’ve earned it.
