Good markdown writer
This is my first time using a dedicated Mac writer app. I used to use hacked and/or Google Sheet. This is also my first time using Markdown.
Overall I think it’s really good. The UI is clean and it does help me focus and produce. Satisified and not very concerned of its purchase price at all.
I would hope for better export function though. It is not clear to me what the various export functions mean (including the value of the in-app purchase of publish). Particularly I would love to have integration like skitch/evernote’s, where I can provide a link to a collaborator, so he or she could see it online in the Markdown preview mode. To me Byword is a draft writer, not a final product editor, so it’s more important that I can use it to solicit private comment quickly, rather than publish it outright (on Wordpress, etc.).
