This app uses a game engine to simulate and visualize the progress of a contagious disease in a small population. Population members exist in 4 states: Susceptible, Infected, Recovered, and Dead. Infection is initiated by contact between susceptible and infected members. Contact frequency is determined by the mobility within the population. Mobility and other parameters, such as infectivity, infectious period, and mortality rate can be adjusted before or during the simulation. Visualizations for disease spread and other parameters are provided.
