In direct response to your reviews & support requests, we’ve DRASTICALLY improved detection of fake profiles, our customer support system, purchasing issues, and profile browsing issues!

Down is now safer and more reliable than ever, with more changes coming very soon.

- Enforced Photo-Verification: Since our last update, every active user on Down is now photo verified: their profile photo must match the person using the phone. Effective immediately, anyone opening the app must verify, and we’ll be rolling out this enforcement to users who didn’t open the app in the coming weeks. In this build, we also fixed some bugs related to this feature and successfully removed 10s of 1000s of users with inauthentic profiles, making it a safer space for everyone.
- Streamlined Support: Getting help is easier than ever. Push notifications will now link you directly to our support team for faster assistance. Plus, VIPs get fast-tracked support to ensure you get what you pay for.
- Supercharge Fixes: We’ve resolved an issue where some Supercharge features weren’t working properly for a few users — now, they’re back at full power.
- Daily Picks Update: We fixed some bugs where we showed some errors about running out of profiles or seeing people further away once the user upgraded, so it’s running smoothly now.
