Nice but Some feedback

I always use Marriott Bonvoy for hotels but I found some update underwhelming.

1. I used to look for room picture in room detail from “Trips” section since I have some upgrade benefit to use and I need to look for different looks to determine whether I should use nightly upgrade. Now without the picture, it’s quite difficult to use cause I need to click the hotel details again to check.

2. I’m a travelholic person, so I would like to check hotels from “Map” and just simply swipe it. Now it’s gone and I think it’s replaced by “Explore” which I could only see nearby area and I need to click search area every time, it’s an unnecessary change for me.

I hope these two issues could be fixed asap since I think the app is actually better than other hotel franchise.

Limited information and inflexible site navigation.

Don’t waste your time downloading the app. It’s not designed to provide you with information you need. it’s apparently only to designed to provide them with information they want about you. Couldn’t find such basic information as to when they intend to take back my hard earned points. If you try to search for properties then change you mine you can’t get to another part of the site without disclosing your location. Can’t go back, can’t cancel the operation. I guess I could have externally closed the app but I expect better of a company I use to book hotel rooms. Maybe I should start looking under the bed. I guess I’m not the only one critical of the site when required to leave a nickname to leave my feedback the following name were already taken: Boo, anonymous, nickname sanderson, blue boy, it appears they have flagged key negative words so they can keep unfavorable comments of their site.

I am upgraded to English version but I was Chinese simplified version

I am a user for Chinese simplified version , however, my Marriott Bonvoy app on iPhone was upgraded to be English version when I was traveling in US few days ago, I am back to Taiwan but cannot change it back to Chinese Simplified version even I tried and checked my preferences language is Chinese simplified, I called service center and sent mail for help but so far still cannot make it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. What appears to have happened is that your iOS device settings over time assumed the wrong language priority for displaying apps in a language. This most often happens when guests sometimes change their device to use another language or region, in which case all apps follow the device settings order. To edit the device languages within this list and their priority order: On your iPhone, go to: Settings -> General -> Language & Region - tap Edit (top right). If you prefer the app to be Simplified Chinese, for example, over English, ensure Simplified Chinese is above English in that list.
