This incredible software is originally the amazing work of Mark Pazolli and many others (see the credits in the user guide).

Great Painting Application for quick editing.
I use GIMP but I find it overkill for most of what I do. I was looking for an app to do basic editing of images for word processing. Seashore turned out to be perfect for my usage scenario.
Seashore has all the basic tools that the average user needs.
