The Sermo Triple-Verification Process:
Verification: Every healthcare professional who signs up with Sermo is required to provide evidence of their medical credentials. This includes uploading a copy of their medical license and badge from their place of work. Sermo verifies new member credentials using a combination of human review and automated technology to ensure every member is a verified provider - making the process as easy as possible for new members.
Identification: The next step in the process is to check that the person registering matches the submitted credentials. Sermo requires a photo ID upon registration, such as a driver's license or a passport. Registration is fast, but this extra step ensures that this platform contains information submitted exclusively by real, practicing professionals.
Confirmation: For physician networking that cares about the strength and validity of its community, Sermo makes a final check against our database to confirm the member is not already a member or previously excluded.
