Welcome to University Golf Club!
If you are looking for a traditional west coast golf experience with majestic, towering old growth trees and long narrow fairways that anyone can play, then this is it. Carved out of the pristine forests of the University Endowment Lands, the 18 hole par 72 course is a favourite among both casual golfers and regulars.
Full of history (since 1929) the course today has a mature landscape which is both challenging and forgiving. It’s only minutes away from the city but you feel away from it all. Not to mention a clubhouse that benefits a private club. It’s no wonder the University Golf Club is a voted best Public Golf Course time and time again.
The relatively level terrain from hole to hole makes power carts optional and many opt to enjoy the tradition of the game by walking. However you choose to get around your time on course will be time well spent.
