To make it distinctive
If you can integrate both iOS and Mac version with sync function to all the articles having been read, that will be a hit no doubt.
Cause in iOS, apart from Safari, users cannot find conveniently way to do the search, and mostly we'll go for wiki at first. However, mobile wiki is too simplified that can't quench our need. Still, google didn't show up other language version suggestions. Therefore, an App like Wikibot really act as a relief.
To put it in the Mac's point of view, you have to think about what makes your product different from Safari. ppl won't launch an App just to do what they can do on Safari.
