As a DStv customer you can enjoy all of these features on the DStv app.
- Watch it as it happens, tune in and start live streaming selected TV channels via 3G/4G or WIFI.
- Missed it live, catch it later by watching a selection of the most popular shows, sport highlights, and movies on Catch Up.
- Don’t want to use mobile data to watch shows or movies, download up to 25 videos on Catch Up while on WIFI to enjoy offline later across 4 mobile devices.
- Want your own experience based on the sport, shows and movies you like to watch, setup up to 6 profiles to personalise each family members viewing experience.
- Want to plan your viewing in advance, add Catch Up items to your watchlist to come back to later or access the full 8-day TV Guide and set reminders to arrange your viewing.
- Need to keep the kids entertained, our Kids section on the mobile app is a safe and fun viewing environment with PIN controlled access so your kids can enjoy the coolest shows and movies unattended.

Territory of watching
Whenever you travel to anyother country where dstv has no territory with the country and try to access the app you cannot this is poor and for instance.i stay in my country 2 months per year so its like no use to be in service with this kind of company
Poorly designed Logo
Poorly designed app logo, any app logo should be simple, and looking good, not having a lot of words in small space. Prefer the old app icon design was simple and looking good on my phone. This one looks poorly designed, many colors with word stream which doesn’t have to be in the icon logo but logo name and if it has to be, then smaller. For me, the program content is good so 3 stars, one gone for poorly designed app icon.
Territory of Watching
I have not been able to access DSTV on MyDStv app when I travel overseas. My DSTV subscription remains useless at home while ideally I am supposed to access my DSTV subscription via streaming wherever I am provide my phone/tablet has internet.
Many hotels these days provides mirroring/airplay access on their room TV’s since they can’t always provide the content which everyone likes. They now allows their guests to use their own devices watching their own content on the hotel TV’s. They only provide good internet.
It is therefore absurd for DSTV to restrict viewing by barring their own subscribers with valid subscription to watch what they want simply because they have travelled.
This makes no sense.
Please fix this.
