How long can you roll? That’s the big question in Kingpin Bowling, a game that puts a winning spin on the classic recreational sport.

Knock over enough pins while rolling down a never-ending lane (dodging a concession stand’s worth of gigantic hot dogs and falling popcorn buckets) and you might just top the scorecard.

Get ready to grab coins, smack pins and weave between giant pencils.

For this challenge, though, we’ll settle for 200 points. It’s not quite the magical 300 in real-world bowling, but it’ll still take work to get there, especially for beginners. Follow these quick tips to rule the alley and reach your goal.

Scan the horizon

As the pace ramps up, you’ll need every moment to prep for oncoming hazards. Train your eyes on the far end of the lane, giving you precious microseconds to evade obstacles or line up for ramps.

Steer clear of condiments

Because they spill toward you, mustard and relish bottles are especially hard to avoid. Stay as far from them as possible, and don’t be afraid to skip a pin that’s planted right in front of a bottle. Missing a point beats crashing!

Doughnut do this

When approaching a rolling doughnut, resist the urge to cut in front of it. Unless that pastry’s up against the gutter, sneaking behind it is often the safest route.
