Excellent example of awful refactoring
Chime was an app with 90s expired design that was really outdated by modern means. But it had one advantage — it was working flawlessly all the time.
And here comes refactoring that bring next “features”:
- call won’t open from link 9 times out of 10 if user not signed in
- shared screen is usually shrunk on first appearance
- after zooming in shared screen zoom will reset after 3 seconds or so
BTW, UI became nicer, most of functionality still unbroken
