I highly recommend Aahh Bali to all who wanna come to Bali and spend impressive moments here without any disappointments. The owners Bob and Lydia are extremely hospitable, friendly, open-minded and can give thousands of worth advices how to spend wonderful time in Bali. Moreover, they have very good discounts for the verity of pastime here, starting from incredible Bali massage, different kind of transport for cheap price, rafting in the mountains and so on. Also I would like to mention incredibly delicious food from Lydia - you can always ask her to cook whatever you like and be sure it would be gorgeous. We’ve been to three cities in Bali and didn’t try anything testier then in Aahh Bali for fair price. The room had all necessary stuff including fridge, TV etc. and even toothbrushes with toothpaste which we didn’t meet anywhere else there. When we decided to go to Ubud for several days, Bob proposed us to leave our big luggage in Aahh Bali for free, so it was very comfortable for us to travel there only with backpacks. Bob was very helpful and saved us ))) when we stucked in Uluwatu because we couldn’t find nor taxi neither Grabcar. Nobody could speak English there but who could wanted to take 250k for 10 km road. After 2 hours searching we called Bob and he gave us the driver who took us in 30 min for the price twice cheaper. So, my husband and I wanna thank Aahh Bali for helping us to spend our holiday easily and unforgettable. P.S. If you stay in Aahh Bali, you’ll have nice companions during breakfasts and discuss myriads fascinating topics and get a lot of smiles there.
Hidden fees and taxes - an unfriendly interface that encourages deceiving customers

After many years of using Booking during which I make an average of 30-40 reservations per year, I encountered a problem for the first time: hidden (although Booking does not consider them hidden) taxes and fees. In Ukraine, I have never encountered anything similar, but upon arriving in Poland for the first vacation in years since the war, I immediately noticed the following: accommodations list the price in LARGE font. They write the phrase "TOTAL COST" in large font and in small gray font add +xxxx for taxes and fees. You can explain a hundred times that this is legal, but is it friendly to your users? NO! Is it an attempt to squeeze extra money (cost can change TWICE!) from inexperienced users—yes! This is disgraceful. And it has all the signs of fraud.

The worst support service, be careful not to stay on the street like me

Booked a room for 8 days with full prepayment! throughout the time the owner of the property did not respond to my messages. The day before arrival, I began trying to contact the property on all possible numbers, but to no avail. arrived in a foreign city, and failed to contact the owners, contacted the support service, who, in turn, said to wait on the street while they check the information ... after which I called the support service 3 more times who promised to solve my problem, but in the end they didn’t even called back. One minute of a conversation with the support service costs 2 dollars! in total, I spent more than 30 dollars on conversations with booking service operators ... At the end of the story, after 5 hours of my waiting, they gave me an alternative alternative in which the conditions were the most terrible in this city without a kitchen and amenities, with furniture from the 70s ... and 6 kilometers from the place of settlement I planned. Operators ignored my requests to call back. After trying to solve this issue, I stayed on the street thanks to the support of the Booking website!

I want to inform everyone who reads the reviews that in a case like ours, you won’t get even half the money back, so here it is: When we rented housing 2 months before our trip to Spain on the island of Tenerife, it was indicated that we would have a swimming pool, a jacuzzi and the photos were excellent everything was civilized and tidy, but upon arrival we saw dirt, a wild smell of chemicals with which they apparently tried to wash everything and complete unsanitary conditions, and we also didn’t have a swimming pool, other people had it in other apartments, in general, everything was terrible, we didn’t want to stay there and tried through booking return the money and generally communicate somehow about this, but as soon as we talked about the problem, the operators hung up on us and we had great difficulty talking about it and they returned 100 of 700 euros and that was all, so the impressions are terrible; booking is not responsible for its posted advertisements, dissatisfied, lost money, were left with nothing on the street and were looking for other housing.
