The DroneMasters Academy app gives you the opportunity to learn the background and skills for flying your drone! In a playful and practical way, you'll learn everything you need to know about drone types, the rules of flight, and how to get a drone to fly. We'll also show you how to avoid crashing while flying a drone. Great, right? :-)
The DroneMasters Academy app contains the theory part of the children's drone pilot's license free of charge. Just like taking a driving test for a car, you can use it to prepare for a drone flight exam with a flight certificate. There's training content, videos, test questions - and a fun quiz. In the quiz, you can play alone against yourself - or challenge a friend and compete with them.
We have integrated numerous flight exercises that you should perform yourself. To do this, please find a "flight buddy" who will observe your flight exercises and help you to judge whether you have really performed the flight maneuvers correctly. Together this is even more fun and you will learn faster.

Children's drone license
The children's drone license is aimed at children between the ages of 10 and 16. It teaches the most important information about:
What is a drone and how do types of drones differ?
What rules and regulations must be observed?
How does the control of a drone work?
What needs to be considered when managing the battery?

The children's drone license (also called kids' drone license) is permanently free of charge and ad-free.
With interactive elements and an exciting quiz, children can expand their knowledge in a playful way.

The content of the app is specifically aimed at children between the ages of 10 and 16. The content is coordinated with the content of the Federal Aviation Authority.

Why is the kids' license free?
The DroneMasters Academy is part of the DroneMasters Boost GmbH. Since 2017, we have been inspiring children, young people and adults for drones and flying robots. In various formats such as workshops, vacation courses and recreational activities, participants learn how to fly with different drone systems as well as the basics of programming, science and technology. The DroneMasters Academy has already inspired more than 1,000 children in five countries.
With the free Kids Drone License, we want to make the topic of drone flying accessible to more children and actively contribute to air traffic safety. After all, even small drones are aircraft that can travel in a traffic area where helicopters, aerial sports and airplanes are already on the move. The earlier children learn about the environment in which they are operating, the safer it will be for everyone.
