What’s New in this Version:

We are introducing some new features and implementing bug fixes based on your continued feedback. Please keep it coming as your input helps and motivates us to continuously improve the eno experience!

New Features:

Video explainers for each session type:

Access an in-app information module detailing the audio neurofeedback protocols applied in each mode
To access the explainer during a session, tap the (?) button on the session screen
You can skip the tutorial at any time by tapping the “Skip” button in the top right corner of the video explainer

Scoring System:

We are transitioning to a time-based session scoring system to address user feedback on the original scoring algorithm. Going forward, users will have clearer information about their sessions based on the day, hour, and total duration of each session.
This change sets the stage for the upcoming integration with the iOS health ecosystem

Bug Fixes:

Session Recording & Report Generation:

We have fixed a bug in the session recording system that was causing the loss of session data while the app was in foreground mode
With this fix, upon finalizing a session –by closing the session window and switching the mind tuner to the “Off” position– you will immediately see your session on your sessions list
If a session is ongoing (i.e. it has not been finalized as per above) when you visit the report section you will see a “session recording” item on the list. This fix eliminates any confusion about reports not appearing in the session list.

Please note that switching the mind tuner from one mode to another (e.g. “Focus” to “Wind Down”) will also end the current session and initiate a new one

Background Mode:

We have identified limitations in the iOS system that are causing the loss of session data while the eno app is moved from foreground to background on a device
To implement the definitive fix to this issue, we are temporarily pausing the ability to record sessions while the eno app is in the background. During a session users can still switch the eno app from foreground to background to use other apps on their devices. This will pause the brain tracking until the eno app is returned to the foreground.

Users can continue selecting their own audio tracks by pressing the mute button on the eno app, navigating to the audio app, pressing “Play” on track of choice, and then returning the eno app to the foreground
