Ratings and Reviews
Good, but needs some improvements.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this app. Two issues, though:
1. There’s no way to change orientation. Only a single position in a landscape mode (with camera up).
2. No FHD in Zoom. For some reason Zoom shows 720p only while Windows Camera reports FHD.
Looking for mic support on macOS
This app does the work. I found that video quality in google hangouts when using this app connected to laptop is much better comparing to video quality with mobile hangouts app.
I use usb or 5g wifi, it works perfectly fine over wifi
I also tried NDI, but it works only with lightning cable and this connection type is quite slow, also if anyone face this slow connection issue - I would recommend changing camera video quality setting (4k seems too heavy!)
Unfortunately I can’t use NDI connection with macOS Catalina due to a number of issues. That said I cannot use the mic of the iphone - this is very sad, iphone mic is very very good and I really struggle with it.
Good app
This app is very helpful. It is very easy to get it to work, it pairs with PC flawlessly via Wi-Fi.
I wish there was an option to use it only as a microphone. There are situations in which camera is unnecessary so it becomes simply a waste of battery. Would have been nice if I could just turn video off.
