Find Cheap Petrol & Diesel in the UK - Keep your location & car data private!
Find the cheapest petrol and diesel prices around your location, and throughout the UK. Using data submitted to UKGov by the fuel companies themselves Fossil Fuel is super-privacy focused, there's no tracking of you or your data, and no sign up required! Your location data never leaves your device! Work out whether it's worth going out of your way to save a few pence.
Fossil offers 20 price updates for free, and then requires a subscription. The six-monthly subscription comes with a one month free trial.
The subscription allows you to set a favourite fuel station so you can make direct comparisons in cost and distance. It also allows you to compare routes on the map. You can also input vehicle details to get approximated costs in petrol for a journey and the approximate cost of a full tank of fuel.

Lots of quality of life improvements, bug fixes and UI Improvements. In the list view you can now swipe on a station to see its location on the map, or select it as your favourite station.
The Vehicle view had a bug where the 'Done' button didn't always display above the keyboard.
Fixed some glitchy animations
Added a speedometer.
On the map. petrol stations now display brand icons rather than a generic petrol pump. If a favourite station is selected, then the route is always displayed.
In the background a more modern api is used to get and update the users location. It's more battery friendly and uses the latest Swift concurrency goodness.
