Issue with login

The same issue as described by Alexa Bobina. Ordered taxi and could not pay with application: first it did not respond and then when I tried to restart program did not allow me to sign in

Tech debt must be paid

Despite nice UI app experience troubles.

1. Once I was not able to finish car sharing with error similar to “something went wrong” and app just stopped to response. After app reinstall I was not able to login because pressing “sign in” button was giving me same error. What a surprise. After around 10-15 minutes I was able to login and saw my carsharing still happening there and on attempt to end it I got “Oops The rental has not ended yet, please try once again.”
After this message car was locked but in the app everything was gone and I was not able to see that trip at all. It looks like I never did that trip. History was empty.
I spend some rounds with customers support to be able to see that trip in history and be charged accordingly.
Terrible experience.

2. Riding e-scooter, attempt to use Apple Pay fails with error “Unfortunately, an error occurred. Please try again or contact FREE NOW support.”
Faced general answer “reboot, relogin, reinstall” none of that helped to be honest.
Adding new payment method worked, but hey, why Apple Pay even listed there then if it not works?

To summarize:
It is 2 and not 1 only because it is somehow works and UI is not that bad.

No refund after a driver didn’t pick up

In Lisbon a driver just passed me and apparently took someone else by mistake. If in Uber I never have any issues with money return in such cases (maybe they could see that my location didn’t change after the supposed “pick up” time), in Freenow I sent a details report with explanations and screenshots of my location that was far away from the supposed driver (drived with another app). The response was “we can see that the trip was completed”, which actually was the problem, that it was completed without me.

Will try to send even more proofs on the request but overall that shouldn’t be such a big fuss with multiple emails over 20 euros. Maybe that’s the point, to make things hard enough and discourage you asking for a refund.
