As part of the Mi Transporte system of the Jalisco Ministry of Transportation, and in collaboration with the Hoozie tech company, commuters can now use QR codes as a new form of payment and validation on the transportation network, starting from the Mi Macro Periferico routes in the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara. Buy and validate tickets using the Hoozie app on your phone at a turnstile or onboard a bus on a validator, using pesos credit on your Hoozie wallet.
This new payment method aims to make Jalisco more connected and resilient, in addition to promoting digital and financial inclusion.
