Description

Horo is the best FREE countdown timer for the Mac!

Horo is the timer app you need for your menu bar. It’s easy to use, fast, and gives you exactly what you need.

Boost your productivity. Stay on task. Keep track of time. Use Horo.

Start a timer in faster than you can blink using Horo’s Natural Language timers. Just type in how long you want your timer and hit Return!

Your timer will start counting down in your menu bar. Once the timer goes off, you’ll get an alert. Too easy!

Some examples of Horo’s flexible Natural Language support:
– “1:30:45” starts a timer for 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 45 seconds
– “1.5h” starts a timer for 1 hour, 30 minutes
– “45m” starts a 45 minute timer
– “1h 15m” becomes an hour and fifteen minutes
– “60s” will play a sound in a minute
– Leaving the input blank will start a stopwatch
– “@3pm” will set a countdown timer to go off at 3pm

You can use '#hashtags' to sort your timers into projects.

Perfect to use as a:
– Pomodoro Timer
– Focus Timer
– Productivity Countdown Clock
– Washing Timer
– Cooking Timer
– Simple Alarm Clock

Important Suggestions

Please fix this:

1. Currently, when opening an application again (if it's already open) a new timer instance is created in the menu bar. It's not the desired behaviour – I just want to view my current timer.

(if multiple timers are present - the one that shows up can be either:
- the first timer in the list
- the last timer that the user interacted with
- the first currently running timer
The user can choose this in the settings)

I can already create additional timers with a " " button. But I don't want to create a timer every time I click the application! When I'm clicking it - I want to SEE the currently running timer!

If I have tens of timers open, I may lose the one timer I use in the weeds. This issue is important for my comfort.

2. A bug: every time a new timer is created, it's aligned to the very right of the screen, not below the meny bar position.
** What to do if the meny bar is too short to accomodate all the timers?
- maybe all the different timers can be moved to inside of a single menu bar icon?

3. (the "settings" and "quit" buttons can be removed from timer window - to make it cleaner, and moved to when you right-click the timer in the menu bar. If you don't do this, then at least you can change the "gear" icon to "three horizontal bars" icon - to be more intuitive)

The best timer

I always seem to come back to this app, no matter how many timers I try the others timers.
