Procreate Dreams 4+

I was expecting that this app will have all the same features from Procreate plus timelines and other video/audio stuff. But drawing features are very limited: - can’t reorder/duplicate layers in drawing mode - can’t draw straight line or perfect circle - can’t change brush settings - can’t upload procreate brushes or pallets - onion skin doesn’t work! Also it’s not very convenient navigation through the timeline. Export doesn’t work! And also it’s lagging from time to time. I hope it will be fixed soon!

UPD: with brushes import, onion skin and export problem solved, but my other previous complaints still active.
Reorder layers in drawing mode is still not working.
And now I realised that I need to make a cartoon with dimensions 1350*1080 and there is no feature of custom dimensions. BTW, very good that with last update there’s a custom frame rate. Thanks

In order to ensure that we don't miss anything, we'll answer each question separately for you: #1. As Procreate Dreams is currently on its version 1, we are constantly working to improve all of its features and add many more (like Selections, Stabilisation settings, Layers management). #2. Brush Studio is a feature for a dedicated painting app and is currently not planned to be included in Procreate Dreams. Although Procreate Dreams is an individual product we want it to feel familiar to existing Procreate users, and because of this some tools have been brought over from Procreate to Procreate Dreams. To keep both products streamlined in what they are designed to do, some features will remain exclusive to Procreate and Procreate Dreams. 🌟You can still export your custom brushes and colour Palettes from Procreate, and import them into Procreate Dreams and these will keep their settings. To import your Procreate brushes / Palettes into Procreate Dreams, you can use both apps in Split Screen and Drag & Drop the files directly onto the Stage in Procreate Dreams. You may also export the brush or brush set from Procreate to Files app and then Drag & Drop the file onto the Stage in Procreate Dreams. #3. You can activate the Onion skin in Procreate Dreams by tapping on the Time display of your project, on the left side of the screen. There you will see the toggle to Show onion skin, and to edit it or the background colour. #4. Regarding the exporting issue, we are currently working toward fixes for known issues and hope that we can implement fixes with upcoming updates. We recommend heading to App Store and making sure that you are updated to the latest version of Procreate Dreams 🙏. You can also try working with Advanced Export and use the default settings offered to you. I would like to say that the application is good, but it simply lacks the necessary functions, without which it is really very difficult and inconvenient to use the application. I bought it about a month after the release and sincerely expected that all the features would be added as soon as possible because otherwise the application feels just raw. First of all, the "lasso" tool is very lacking, it's not just missing - it's CATASTROPHICALLY missing. Every time I open this application and try to do something in it, it's my constant thought. Secondly, there is a lack of the ability to save in Gif format, which is also very annoying and sad. From the desired, I would also like to have the opportunity to work with the camera and its direction in the future, this would greatly raise the application in my eyes. Well, from the NECESSARY, I would like it to be possible to adjust the brushes and, when clamped, to be able to align objects as in a regular procreate. Please, I hope that at least you will add the "lasso" tool first and as soon as possible. I hope to be heard in this matter.

Additionally, to enable the Snapping feature and move your content while being aligned you can do the following: Place a second finger on the screen while you move, transform, or rotate your content > When moving or transforming, your content snaps to the edges and center of the Stage. When rotating, content snaps in 30º increments around your content’s anchor point. Hello! I'm facing the following problem: when I imported brushes from procreate to procreate dreams, I lost some brushes in procreate. However, they are in procreate dreams, but of course I can't import them back :c I would like to have the option to import brushes back in the future. It's a small thing, but I think it would be a very cool feature as a human factor or programmatic failure. I would appreciate a reply and have a nice day!
