The iKnowMed app from Ontada is the companion to iKnowMed Generation 2 electronic health record (EHR) and the perfect extension for providers looking to stay connected and move beyond the desktop for key care team interactions. Connecting seamlessly with iKnowMed Generation 2 to provide intuitive, secure cloud-based navigation and access to patient charts and appointments, this initial release allows users to freely and conveniently access essential patient information at exactly the point of need – even when away from the office.

iKnowMed complements the full desktop EHR, allowing quick access to:

- Review lab results
- View the Visit List
- Access the Patient Chart
- Create context-enabled messages from inside the Work List
- Upload new attachments
- Access care team and patient contacts without leaving the app
- Send and receive messages with other providers while referencing related patient information

iKnowMed Mobile version 10.0.0 includes new functionality allowing users to see other providers’ schedules in the visit list, additional result flags, a redesigned login screen, and multiple fixes.

What’s New
- Users can now tap a new icon at the top of the Visit List, choose a provider from the resource list, and view that provider’s schedule in the Visit List. A banner displays detailing which provider’s schedule is currently displayed. Dismiss the banner to return to the standard visit list. Users must have the required permissions to view other providers’ schedules in the Visit List.
- Additional result flag designs have been added to make viewing abnormal results clearer.
- The iKnowMed Mobile login screen has been redesigned to match iKnowMed Generation 2 designs.

Bug Fixes
- An issue causing the wrong patient chart to open when patients with nearly identical MRNs are listed in patient search results has been resolved.
- An issue preventing some users from being able to upload attachments using their mobile device camera has been resolved.
- An issue preventing patient middle names from displaying as expected has been resolved.
- An issue allowing users to save a problem with an invalid date has been resolved.
