Minesweeper, also commonly known as Minesweeper or Minesweeper Flag Game, is a single-player puzzle video game. The objective of the game is to clear a minefield without triggering any of the hidden mines. The player is presented with a grid of squares, some of which contain mines, while others are safe to click.
The game begins with all squares covered, and the player must carefully click on squares to reveal them. If a square contains a mine, the game ends immediately. However, if a square is safe, it will either reveal a number indicating the number of adjacent mines, or it will reveal an empty space.
