MUBI offers a monthly and a yearly auto-renewing subscription with a 7 day free trial period.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

The simple interface makes it a pleasure to discover cult classics, eye-opening documentaries, and hard-to-find dramas we might’ve missed.

great collection but the app lacks functionality
I just love the service offered by Mubi and I recently has been enjoying movies offline via my phone. The problems I experienced were the following: 1) after I downloaded four movies in a row, the app crashed and didn't open for days until I reinstalled it and had to download everything all over again; 2) the main purpose I use Mubi in general is to rate movies, search lists and filmographies - so I was deeply disappointed when I discovered there was no way to search something via the app. ADD THIS FEATURE, PLEASE!!!

Regarding your second point, our app is developed primarily for the streaming of our 30 films a day video service and doesn't include support for such database features which are usable on our website. That said, we do plan to implement them sometime in the future!
