No trial, everything is closed with subscription

Strange monetization policy: everything except Home Screen is closed with subscription and there is no trial period. Yes, monthly subscription is pretty cheap but I am not ready to pay even this ~2$ because I don’t know anything about the app

Hi there, the way the app stores work for any subscription based app is that is has to be free to download and then the subscription is an “in app purchase”. This ‘free to download/in-app purchase’ approach is mandated by the App stores.

The monthly subscription (way less than a cup of coffee!) can be cancelled at any time and the price is clearly stated in the app description The price and monthly subscription is very transparent.

Importantly, we have worked very hard to price the app very reasonably so that it is accessible for everyone’s budget. There is no long term commitment, just a month by month decision whether to keep or cancel the subscription.

The App compares more than favourably with the cost of a cookbook. In addition, the App gets new content EVERY week and yet a cookbook does not.
