Description

PalmID Agent is a mobile client for PalmID(R) Identity Provider (IDP) developed and maintained by Redrock Biometrics.
The flow provided by PalmID IDP is based on OpenID Connect protocol, which is widely used for signing in via social accounts like Facebook or Google. On the websites, which designate PalmID IDP as a trusted identity provider, a user chooses to sign in with PalmID, gets redirected to PalmID IDP sign-in page, signs in there using PalmID Agent app, and gets signed in via trust on the original website.
Signing in on the PalmID IDP sign-in page using PalmID Agent app takes two steps: scanning a QR code and verifying user’s palm. Biometric palm verification is based on matching the unique patterns of lines and creases on palm’s surface. These patterns are highly unique, they are different even for identical twins, which are notoriously hard to tell apart using face-based biometrics. PalmID employs powerful algorithms for spoofing detection; it cannot be easily spoofed by showing a still photo or a video.

PalmID IDP can be easily integrated with an Azure AD B2C tenant. You can try PalmID Agent with a test website https://api-kr.redrockbiometrics.com/azuredemo/. Please contact us at if you are interested in a similar service.
