How does the Promova Premium work:

We are offering monthly, 6-month, and annual subscription plans. Currently, a 7-day free trial is available for an annual Premium subscription only. If you are happy with the features Promova offers, after this period, you will be automatically charged the full price of the chosen Premium plan, which was indicated on a payment screen during checkout.

If you want to cancel the free trial or your current Premium subscription, please make sure to do this at least 24 hours before the end of the current payment period. Otherwise, you will automatically be charged a price according to a chosen Premium plan. To manage your subscription, please go to the AppleID Account Settings. Please keep in mind that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Also, please pay attention that Promova has both mobile and web versions that are connected. Therefore, if you purchased the subscription on the web, and you do not see the current subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings, please go to your Promova's Account (mobile or web version) > My purchases > Payments & subscriptions > Cancel subscription.

When a subscription is canceled, access to the app's courses and features will expire at the end of the current payment period.

Version 6.20.0

When learning a language can save someone’s life.

On the occasion of National American Sign Language (ASL) Day, Promova launches a free ASL course.

The course consists of 12 bite-sized lessons that cover some basics of ASL (greetings, expressing gratitude, and ordering food and drinks). Additionally, it includes essential signs for communicating in emergency situations, such as asking for help, warning about fire, and expressing the need to call emergency services.

In critical moments, knowing even a few ASL signs could be the difference between life and death – for instance, alerting deaf individuals, especially those without hearing aids, to important information like a fire alarm or the sound of gunfire.

Completing the beginner level of this course takes less than an hour, but the impact knowing those signs can have is truly priceless.

With the current update, the ASL course is available for free for all our learners. To access it, open the list of available courses and scroll down. The course materials are provided with explanations in English.

Bag with “translate this word” task

I really appreciate your hard work, the app is amazing and could provide useful vocabulary, but there are some bags with answering on tasks, where you need to translate some word into another language (in my example - Ukrainian word to English), there maybe task to translate audio word, or the written one. All correct answers are always the last option out of 4. I could even not read or listen to the task and just press the last option. So I kindly ask you to have a look at this issue)

Refund Request

I do not recommend this application. I believe it's just an attempt to rip people off without any individual approach. After taking the test and purchasing the B2 course, I received materials at a much lower level than my actual proficiency. I was offered a Business English course covering basic professions such as CEO and project manager, as well as the differences between "employee" and "employer." It's definitely a level far below the expectations provided at the beginning.

Additionally, I am disturbed by the constant attempt to sell additional materials, making me feel that the offer is unfair. The test level questions do not align with the actual material level, making the program seem imprecise and ineffective. In the current situation, I see no benefits in using this application. In my opinion, it's a money-grab without any real valuable content or support.

Unfortunately, my previous inquiry to support went unanswered, further increasing my dissatisfaction with customer service. I expect a refund as, after one login to the application and seeing what they want to teach me, I lost interest in continued use.

Nice idea but poorly thought

I am a nerd, at the same time still a human. This app is cute. But: you can’t revise anything, only start a piece of lesson from the beginning (and if you do so you have to finish the whole lesson otherwise you’ll loose the “tick” that will be annoying you with “progress 3%”). Also, you can’t omit things you clearly know and don’t want to spend your time on. This is something that would be helpful with a problem explained before too If you’re not ready to invest into nice revising feature - just let me “finish” the class earlier or at least tick things Im too familiar with to spend my time on it. I will keep this app for a few days still but it’s a pity to treat such a nice idea this way…
