Rentalcars.com Car rental App 4+

I always enjoy this service. Wild range of cars, convenient interface and friendly off line service on site. My special thanks to Luka from Sixt in Milano Malpensa. Best worker ever!

Rentalcars refused to issue at least partial refund for 12 days 1k € rental. Car was not collected because Sixt at Tenerife has special driving license requirements (never had this problems before in any country). So we took a car from Hertz with no problems. Tried to reach Rentalcars the same day via phone but was told I could only cancel my booking not later then I was standing at the Sixst rental counter when picking up the car. Also customer support advised to make a claim after the rental expired. So I did that but received refusal and statement they will keep all 100% paid money for the whole rental.
Complete dissapointment. Never ever will use this service again. Never could even imagine company could have superb web catalog platform but not willing to clearly show / explain their rental rules (very severe by the way) so customers know in advance what to do in a case of trouble

Car was rent via avis - known for their scam service. When returning the car I was pointed to scratches that were there from the pickup time but were not fixed in contract (though two spots were checked in) and was charged 750 euros. I thought not a big deal since rentalcars assured that they refund up to $1500. When back home I’ve submitted a claim attaching the photos of contract and receipt. The only thing I’ve ever got from them was an advice to lodge a dispute with rental company and bank, and if got official refuse only in that case they’ll start doing something. They’ve also added a letter from them which they said would be helpful during dispute. It wasn’t at all.
To summarize - never ever rent from avis-budget and via rentalcars.
