Ranking is not realistic

I really love the game, but common, make ranking more realistic! It’s unusual that the guy that didn’t won any grand slam or masters during the season has over 12000 points lol and in the same year another one won 3 slams and has less then 6000 at the end of the season. Or when he pass some tournament, next week he has another 1000 or 2000 points more WTF? Is this magic tournament beside the whole tour?
