Rejoice! One of the most popular online RPGs ever made is coming to iPhone and iPad.
Yup, the mighty RuneScape will arrive on the App Store in June, and you can make sure you’re ready for adventure from day one by hitting “Get” now.
Made in the UK by Cambridge studio Jagex, the game was first launched on PC in 2001, and has since grown to become a friendly online community of millions, drawn from all corners of the globe.
You can pretty much do as you please in Gielinor, RuneScape’s colossal online world, but most players will set about battling monsters, gathering loot and completing quests, solo or as part of a group. And once you’ve got to know the world and its players a little, you can just spend time hanging about, chatting and playing mini-games if you like – it’s up to you.
RuneScape on iPhone and iPad is the exact same game as the Mac and PC experience too, so everything works seamlessly no matter what device you’re playing on. So, for example, if you used to play but haven’t visited RuneScape for a while, you can log into your existing account on device and pick up where you left off.
