A relaxing and poetic odyssey
The vast emptiness of space becomes an ocean of calm in Little White Rocket. It’s an escapist journey that’s designed to transport you away from the stresses of the modern world.
You’ll plot your route by the stars, tapping to thrust towards the nearest one. When you arrive, you’ll circle it automatically – and when your aiming line is pointing at another star, you simply tap again to pull free from your current orbit and zoom to the next.
Along the way, you’ll encounter different space phenomena. You might need to gather pieces of stardust from nearby celestial bodies to reveal the next. Others are like the hands of a clock – you’ll need to keep circling to wind them up until both are in line.
Further along, you’ll find clusters of dying stars where you must plot a path between them before their time runs out. You’ll also gather strange objects (or are they alien creatures?) and return them home to reveal the way forward.
As you glide peacefully along, stars of different colours will tempt you away from the main path. Follow these and you’ll be led to special artifacts – we’ll let you discover what’s inside.
Collect these and take them to the swirling vortex at the stage’s end, and you’ll be treated to a gorgeous piece of verse from award-winning poet and neuroscientist Laurence O’Dwyer, delivered in the gentle tones of Donal Gallagher.
