Description

Find out from what height you jumped into the water. Or determine the height before you jump, by dropping an object. Or do you want to know how fast something hits the bottom? Then this app is for you.

With a simple and easy-to-use interface, “Free Fall” lets you record videos of spectacular jumps. No matter from which perspective – whether you jump with the camera or everything is filmed from a fixed position – as long as the points where the free fall starts and ends are visible, you are good to go. Just mark the start and end position of the free fall phase on the video timeline, and the app will take care of the rest.

Once you define the free fall phase, the app uses a physics-based formula to calculate the exact height and speed of the person or object falling. Watch as the app displays this information in real time with the video.

You can record video at high frame rates (up to 240 fps) for extra accurate measurements and spectacular slow motion playback.

Key Features:

- Video recording: Record spectacular jumps or falling objects with your device's camera, or simply import them into the app

- Slow motion: Record video at high frame rates (up to 240 fps) for extra precise measurements and slow motion playback

- Marking and analysis: Precisely mark the start and end position of the free fall phase on the video timeline

- Real-time display: Watch height and speed values update live as the video plays back

"Free Fall" is a handy tool for athletes, physics enthusiasts, educators, and anyone interested in free fall.

Although the measurements can be quite accurate under ideal conditions, please consider this app as a toy and not a reliable measurement tool.

Download “Free Fall” now and start experimenting!
