Description
This App provides the text and audio of the Gospel of Luke and Psalm 23 translated into Northern Zazaki (Kirmancki, Zonê Ma), as spoken in the region of Dersim-Hozat (Turkey). The written and spoken sentences will appear scrolling together. Music by Zeki Çiftçi introduces the chapters.
Luke, a doctor from ancient Antakya, reports about Jesus’ birth, his teaching and his miracles, his crucifixion and resurrection. All this happened during the time of the Roman Empire. Luke points out that Jesus is indeed the Messiah that God had promised by the ancient prophets. The people were wondering about Jesus’ message because his preaching was different than what they were used to. Religious leaders often hated him; but the common people were amazed at his wisdom and were moved by his love for them.
