Description
This App is a supplementary tool for the Heretaunga hub website https://maraewaakainga.com that hosts mana whenua pages and subsites under the Marae Waakainga umbrella. The hub website exists as a global connectivity tool for Heretaunga whānau everywhere to have contact with their marae, hapori and whenua through news, events, and other items of interest and importance.
The hub website is regularly updated via the Mana Ake rohe page. Local hapū and whānau news, events, and other items of interest are posted to relevant individual pages.
Users and content creators can apply for membership that enables submissions and comments for broadcast, after moderation.
This APP allows users to subscribe to selected page news and events, receiving updates on the go (in the form of push notifications) and access to an easy pathway to finding out more or getting involved.
