Both apps crash on iPhone XS Max
I have the newest iPhone with the newest software. Paid $45 for both apps as a bundle. There is little to no instructions on how to use either app and both apps crash suddenly all the time. I would not recommend this product until they work out the kinks.
Essential for filmmakers
These apps are so crucial to the research and prep I do for my films. Artemis is helpful on the ground and Helios helps me plan from far away (especially outdoor shots). I recommend playing around with all the functions so your prepared to use them when you need them. Virtual “stand in” avatars, calculating sun light and sun path, and figuring out which lens lengths to use. So much great stuff!
