I was in a game for nearly 3 hours before I kept folding too much and eventually lost and got 2nd place. The very next game all players got eliminated in almost 10 minutes. I had eliminated everyone and gotten there by getting 2 Flushes in a row betting 3000 chips at a time to get everyone to go all in. I was left with one guy who had a measly 225 chips left haha. He got me with a pair of 10’s but then the next hand I got him eliminated with a pair. I got 1st place! That whole game took about a little over 10 minutes. It can be very fun once you start getting good hands. But can be aggravating when you get bad hand after bad hand and the other guy bets 800 chips for no reason even though he has bad cards. Good tactic to boot the other person out. Sparky is a little devil! Good ad free game and I will continue to play.

I don’t normally write reviews, especially not ones this lengthy, but this game has broken me to the point of submission. All of the other negative reviews are right, this game is absolute trash and undoubtedly the WORST mobile game I have EVER had the displeasure of playing; not because it’s bad or because I’m unskilled, the game is the worst because it has the potential to be the best. I LOVE Texas Hold’em, and this game is phenomenal in its gameplay, and there are no ads nor in-app purchases to be found. It is killed by the worst AI ever coded into a game, combined with stacked odds. Firstly, you are not given enough money when you buy in, so the first hand played often requires you to go all-in because the bots all just raise each other one after another. Secondly, the bots randomly go all-in themselves for no reason before the flop half the time, causing you to blindly match them or go all-in yourself based solely on your pocket. Thirdly, 95% of the hands you are dealt are absolute garbage and, to add insult to injury, on the RARE occasion that you DO get anything decent, the normally gung-ho bots will all fold the second you bet even the MINIMUM amount possible. I can confidently say that this game has worse odds than any casino I’ve ever been to, and I would happily pay a few dollars like $4.99 to purchase this game if they simply fixed those issues. It has the potential to be the greatest poker game on the app-store, but for now, it isn’t.

The game is fun and I suppose challenging enough to hold interest. The ability to swipe away and pick back up later is nice as I don’t regularly sit down for a long play of Poker but will try to win a few hands while on hold or something. I’m up to $9.3 million in winnings which is where it starts to get a little boring. I would have to go on a 93 game losing streak to get back to square one so there is no longer any risk. I’d like to see more levels or higher stakes as I can only play in Macau so many times before I want to do something else.

It is a little buggy at times. The pot payouts routinely show much less than you actually won. Say you win $25k in a hand… the display may show $9800 but the $25k actually gets put into your chip stash. It can be confusing to see but at least the money all makes it in and you don’t lose your winnings. I have noticed that I have been dealt the same hand as many as three times in a row in a game indicating something off with the “shuffling”.

Overall it’s a fun game that doesn’t take much effort to play and isn’t serious or overly competitive.
