MAAS PLUS 4+

This app was never really good to begin with (taxis always call, many taxis don’t accept payments they say they are supposed to, app often crashes, etc.), but with the latest update it’s dreadful.

Current location doesn’t work at all and just continuously glitches while being used. You can not select where you want to go on a map and when you try to search for the locations, nothing shows up! There used to be a few English options in the search menu, but now it seems nothing is working, even Chinese.

Unfortunately, this is Macau and there are not many alternatives.. so I will have to continue to try using this horrible app while hoping that Uber (or equivalent) is somehow allowed to come back to Macau.

During a rebrand, they took the word Taxi out of the app. Now it cannot be found by searching on the iPhone using the word Taxi. Maybe they don’t want to be a taxi company anymore. Now they have updated their app to send you push advertising every day. Push notifications should be for the taxi service but there is no way to turn off the ads without turning off all notifications. Very poor choices in design and business logic. On the up side, maybe less people will use it and we can get a taxi as normally there are no taxis available anyway and the system has no logic for queuing or optimization.

How do you expect anyone but Cantonese/Chinese speaking people to use this app? This company needs to step it up... take notes from other apps Uber, Grab, GOJEK those are true technology companies. I’m an English speaker and I shouldn’t receive a phone call asking where I am when I’ve clearly put my location in the map... I don’t speak the language. Defeats the purpose of the app. Five thumbs down! Do better!
