ある朝目が覚めると、僕は知らない部屋にいた。
確か昨日は仕事の区切りがついたからと、葵先輩と食事をしたところまでは覚えているのだけど・・・
・犬山 日向 (いぬやま ひなた) 22歳
素直で真面目な性格だが、自分の領域に侵入してくる人が嫌いなため、人付き合いが苦手。
今年大学を卒業したものの、就職する気は起きず、フリーターでもしながら自分に合う仕事を探そうと考えていた。
そんな折、同じ高校の先輩であり、大学受験の時に家庭教師をしてもらった葵先輩から助手をしないかとアルバイトを持ち掛けられる。
・猫手 葵 (ねこて あおい) 25歳
子供のころから秀才ぶりを発揮し、学問に関しては常にトップクラス。しかし他人の感情には鈍感ゆえに関係を壊したことも多々あり、人見知りが加速している。
大学でもその才能と性格ゆえに、優秀な一匹狼として暇を持て余していたところ、高校時代の恩師の伝手で日向の家庭教師をすることになる。
他者との距離感を掴めない葵と、常に一定以上の距離を保とうとする日向が意思の疎通を図るのは難しいと思われたが、お互いの苦手なことを理解してからは意識する仲になり、現在まで続いている。
注：脱出ゲームが本編です。ストーリーはおまけです。
