I’ve had this game for years and its still not boring to me! This game is a game were you can expand your bakery, decorate it, and you can bake things. You can also friend people and they can tip you and you can tip them. Tips are $20 each and one star for leveling up. As the more you level up, the more things you can bake and decorate with. There is so much to do and it never gets boring. Now time for the little complaint… something that is always happening to me is that the food always get expired so quickly. I’m not sure if its my timing and I don’t pay attention to the time but everyday my food gets expired and it’s annoying and a waste of my coins/money. Other than that this game is great. For other people they may not like the fact that some of that the foods takes hours of days but to me thats not a problem. Like the pumpkin pie takes 2 days. For me it gives me the option to watch an ad to skip 2 hours of waiting. Also you can watch ads for free gems! You can also decorate your bakery very nicely. You can change the floors, walls, tables, chairs, counter, coffee maker, stoves, and everything else they offer. Some things are a little pricey but you can always save up. This game is so amazing and it never gets boring to me. Download it now!

Honestly I don’t ever write reviews but I just played “Dancing Line” and after deleting it and then opening back up my bakery story account I felt a new appreciation lol. I used to play bakery story in 2013 when I first got an iPhone and I loved it but I stopped playing it and any other game I had downloaded due to wanting to spend less time on my phone and needing more storage space. I downloaded it again recently and it’s exactly the same as it always has been which makes me happy. The reason why I mentioned the app dancing line is because the ads on that app suffocate you. Bakery story is nowhere near as bad. If you get an ad it’s not a video you’re forced to wait through for 30 seconds every single minute you spend on the app. If you watch videos they are by choice. Ontop of that, dancing line made me feel really stressed because I had to keep repeating levels to progress forward. Bakery story isn’t like that, you can move at your own pace and continue and not be stuck in a loop. There are neighbors to socialize with, cute details, fun goals... overall I just love the setup of bakery story and how calming it is to play. Hopefully it continues being on the App Store for a long time.

People playing this game need to be more considerate. If there’s a goal going on, most people want goal parts NOT cappuccino. It’s annoying seeing people say they only gift cappuccino and if we don’t want it to max out gifts then delete it. What people either don’t get or don’t care is that the system only registers daily amount of gifts you RECEIVED NOT ACCEPTED. So even if you decline the gift, it still counted towards gifts you received. I’ve proved this to be true with my own bakery and people I know that play it. Most of the food/drink gifters do it right away at reset which screws a lot of people over from getting goal parts. This sets people back in building machines because it now takes more parts to build and instead of people purchasing gems and 10 of each part (which is nothing to the 40 you need of one piece alone for one machine) they just leave from frustration. What is even more irritating is how some of these people say to gift them goal parts when they “mass gift” food/drink or basic parts because it’s convenient for them or one of their neighbors requested it so everyone else gets it too. I always take the time to see if a neighbor is doing the goal when leaving tips or read their wall to find out, I won’t ask. Because of how long it takes to get parts, the most people that accepts neighbors to help with your bakery rating when tipping are the ones gifting drinks/food and I see why.
