I downloaded about five packing apps and this was by far the best. I didn’t need a bunch of pre-populated items suggested for me to pack (birth control pills, really?) — I just wanted a clean space where I could make a few categories for the activities I’d be doing on my trip and the items I would need to pack for them & a way to check them off. I love that you can assign yourself or someone else to pack the item and while I haven’t shared a list yet, I know I will as I plan future summer camping trips. I’ve just used the app for one trip so far, but I travel often & I will definitely be paying for the upgrade to show my appreciation! One question I ran into — is it possible to rearrange the order of your categories once you’ve typed them in? I have found that I can alphabetize my items in each category, but haven’t seen a way to move around the categories. It would be a great feature to be able to drag and drop the categories in an order that makes sense to you— for example, if I have a category for each activity I am going to do on an adventure type trip, I would list them in the order they would be happening. (This helps me see what has already been packed for a previous day and what needs to be added for the next.) Thank you!!

I can choose my own categories and add my own stuff, as detailed as “white linen swimsuit cover”, or as simple as “jacket”, as appropriate for that list. I can copy a trip,add travelers (although honestly I only pack for myself so I can’t rate that feature). It has everything I need!

I pack really lightly, perhaps not quite “minimalist”, but close, so there’s not a huge amount to list, but whatever’s in the list is pretty important and it’d be bad to forget.

I’ve tried a number of others where the list is prepopulated, some even asked me to specify gender and included more crap on the packing list to carry - so it assumed because I’m female I must pack a lot of things I don’t need? I definitely don’t need to support that kind of design thought process!

After trying out a couple of different packing apps, this one is by far the best. I recently retired and have several trips planned ranging from one week domestic trips to 4 week international trips. In order for me to enjoy a trip stress free, I need to be organized . This app is great for that. I usually use a writing pad to list my packing list and to do items, but this is so much better. I upgraded. The $6.99 was worth the time of having to create a packing list for each trip. I created a master that I duplicate on all my trips then modify and add depending on the trip.
