In this version we made sure that news and events from the new website of Aalborg University can alså be read in AAUConnect.

We’ve updated the app to make your experience even better. This involves: Improvement: - Better possibility to access research releases online. Bug fix: - Problem with marking a podcast episode as played is now fixed.

In this version we have added a brand new collaboration feature! Never has it been easier top collaborate with Aalborg University. The new collaboration feature will make it easier for you to find the type of collaboration at AAU that best suits your needs and get in touch with the right people. "Collaboration" in AAU Connect contains both a list of all collaboration types as well as a wizard that guides you to the right type of collaboration. In this version the Alumni page has been boosted! We’ve added more content to make the page even more relevant for alumnis. In addition, we have updated the app with the following: - New buttons on research publications for share and read more. - Added the Podcast name in the notification about a new podcast episode - Reduced the app size And finally, for those who use accessibility features such as iOS VoiceOver, we've given the app a round of improvements all around. We believe that all features of the app can be used through accessibility features. If there are areas where it can be improved, we would very much like to hear from you.

We have updated the app with several new functionalities: - The podcast feature is complete and all the functionality is available - The notification settings have been expanded so it is easier to choose from where you want notifications. Now you can also get notifications about new podcast episodes. In addition, we have i.a. corrected the following: - Improved performance on podcasts - An error that caused the weekly overview not to open correctly

We have expanded the Podcast feature with more features. - See a list of new episodes from the Podcast series available in the app - Save episodes by bookmarking and view saved episodes under "Library" - Share series and episodes with others - Open and listen to the podcasts in your favorite podcast player.

We have extended Podcast with more features. 1. A mini player that follows you wherever you are in the app. The mini player can be unfolded for you to pause and rewind the episodes. 2. Under "Library" you can now see and resume the episodes you are currently listening to. 3. Grid view. We have added the option to switch between list and grid view. In addition, we have followed up on feedback from users and added information about author and copyright.

We invite you inside for an early preview of the new feature Podcast, where you can find and listen to podcasts from researchers at Aalborg University. Podcast is a new functionality in AAU Connect, and as something new, you get early access to the beta version before it is fully developed.

Bugfixes

We have updated the app with a lot of new features: - AAU in the press has been moved to news, making it easier for you to get an overview of all news from and about AAU - You can now add events to your calendar on your phone directly from the app - Swipe right on a researcher or research group to follow them - A new up to date function, shows a mark of where you reached the last time you opened the app - A tag has been added on Facilities to make visible which facilities are for available for loan

Now it is possible to see Facilities from Aalborg University. With this feature you get an overview of the facilities at Aalborg University, with the possibility to borrow different facilities, eg. Laboratories, equipment and test facilities. You can also share content directly from the app now. With the new share functionality you have the opportunity to share news, events and research articles eg. You can for example share them by SMS or e-mail.

Show that the app is fetching data when no data in app Scrape News and Events feeds

Now you can filter the researchers you follow.  When you follow a researcher you can see the person in a tag, and add another filter in your "follow" list. If you follow several researchers and only want to see publications from one particular, you can now filter by author on the list. By tapping the cross in the tag at the top, you can also easily remove the filter again. You can now search in your bookmarks.  With the new search feature you can easily find the content you are looking for.
