I have been frustrated by this app because the option to disable on specific WiFi networks disappeared. Others are having the same issue. I deleted the app a while ago but reinstalled yesterday. The option to disable on specific WiFi networks is back! I don’t know if the app changed or if there was some triggered bug that got reset when I reinstalled.
Some websites may have adult content and other parts may not have that content, but it’s still blocked. So, the title says, it would be great if I was able to add exclusions of websites on the family options (block malware and adult content).
If Cloudflare doesn’t want to offer a free vpn, it shouldn’t. Everything is so slow that the phone is unusable on it, and on top of that, even though WiFi is on, it uses mobile data, and for some reason, 10x more than when it’s off. There was also a time when my battery died so much quicker when warp was enabled.Given that Cloudflare has so much bandwidth, the service being “free” and it appearing to not have the privacy of other VPNs (though, paid), you would think they could get the other stuff right.Considering I have apple iCloud private relay (though, I think it only works on Apple apps and in certain use cases— much like warp used to) you should provide a way to connect the subscription or something, especially since Cloudflare is one of 3 (to my knowledge) companies that do private relay, and probably contributed the most to its development. I know warp and relay are different, and I am very familiar with Cloudflare, so at a minimum, there should be very clear indicators on if I’m being capped and should pay, because right now it is very unclear, and I don’t feel like purchasing it over another vpn.
I always like to provide this feedback whenever an app puts a notification in my tray but then when I click on the notification does nothing but open the app as if I have tapped on it from my home screen. If you put a notification in my banner or lock screen, then when I tap on that notification I need to be brought to a page with some kind of UI or UX that draws my attention directly to whatever the notification was about.Today I got a notification. Tapped on it. And it just opened the app as if I tapped on it from the home screen. It was annoying because I don't know what the notification was about or why it was initiated.
When using certain protocols it would state under the diagnostic section 1.1.1.1 instead of warp+ as to where the other protocols state offline. Sometimes it will revert to off even though the selector switch shows that it is on. Not sure if this is an actual intrusion in the attempt to look into any discrepancies towards the platform, an isolated incident, or a deliberate act of network intrusion which I verified with other users that some have experience these types of issues until they change ip addresses and ensuring their devices are encrypted and protected. However they’re occasions where I have found individuals within my residence committing cyber intrusions and causing my network and devices to not work properly. From my personal experience, It’s unfortunate that we live in a society of heavy congestion of violators and intrusive people and it’s even worse that it’s an addiction for their criminal habits. Everything has a digital footprint; regardless if your personal devices are encrypted always expect it to be intruded. On the upside of this program it at least informs me with diagnostics and other viable information of this attack and what commands were being thrown whether through https, txt, cf, bot attack, or any other malicious intent, using and rerouting a backup to ensure its privacy from identity thieves, third party intruders, white hat hackers, etc. It’s a reliable operating system to have if you know what you’re looking for. On a side note: this issue is only directed towards my iPad iOS I have another iOS device that is not having this issue so hence why I suspect their is fraudulent activity being conducted.
There are 3 types of companies that are secretly watching what you do on the web. (No, I’m not talking about social media companies, because you can choose what you share on social media.) - I’m talking about 3 types of companies who secretly track everything you do on every computer or mobile phone that you use.(1) Your DNS provider (usually the same company that provides your internet service); (2) your search engine (usually your home page), and (3) your web browser - all of these companies have one thing in common: they watch what you do on the web, and they build a profile of who you are, and then they sell that data without your knowledge, to thousands of advertisers. If you value your privacy, my strong recommendation is to use 1.1.1.1 for your DNS provider (even without WARP, it is solid); use DuckDuckGo as your search engine, and use FireFox as your web browser.I am a professional in the security and privacy world, and I’m telling you the truth. Protect yourself. Install these 3 free apps, and stop those other types of companies from spying on you and selling your data.
