I downloaded the app and intended to only use the free trial. The app promises to send a reminder when the free trial is about to end so you can cancel it if you wish. I never got a notification nor could I find anywhere in the app to cancel. In the app’s settings, the only option in “restore purchases”, where it just checks if you have a subscription or not. What?! Additionally, the website’s link “Write to us” does nothing, so there is no way to contact support besides through this review Im currently writing.
This is extremely frustrating and I highly recommend that no one downloads this app.

The condition for activating the test period is to connect to a paid subscription. The subscription terms clearly state that the first 7 days are free, after the end of the trial period you will be charged. You can cancel your app subscription before the trial period ends. If the user cancels the subscription before the end of the trial period, no funds will be debited.
If you have not given permission to send notifications, the application will not be able to notify you about the end of the test period. You probably haven't allowed the app to send you notifications.
We use standard Apple subscriptions. In accordance with Apple's payment policy, subscriptions are managed on the platform side for security reasons, and developers do not have access to the transactions and data of users who have subscribed.
To request a refund, you need to contact Apple Customer Support. You can contact Apple support by following the link https://getsupport.apple.com/

I downloaded this app because the ad showed learning French while watching an episode of Wednesday. Now, I see that feature is not an option at all. The developer answered other people’s reviews saying they haven’t finished making that feature yet & developing it takes time. YOU SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISING A FEATURE THAT DOES NOT EXIST YET (and probably never will). That’s dishonest, and you know it.

You also can’t do any learning at all in this app without signing up for a paid subscription. I’m not rushing to pay this developer money when they’ve already blatantly lied to me. What a joke.
